Fall CSA Week 9
the last week of the Fall Share!
Fall CSA pickups conclude on the winter solstice (for on-farm pickups). This was our first season that we opened a fall share, which to us felt momentous. Thank you to the collection of folks who joined in on this root crop, winter squash, frost-sweetened greens season of veg! We hope your meals the past couple of months have felt nourishing, grounding, & flavorful <3
For us, it is time to hunker down into a state of preparation. Meaning… crop plans, field plans, marketing plans, seed, soil, & tool orders, end of year reflection, spreadsheets! The stuff that logistically brings forth a fresh season of farming. We will be taking a break from market in January & February, but be sure to keep an eye out for CSA shares opening within that period of time!

Winter Solstice Chant
By Annie Finch
Vines, leaves, roots of darkness, growing,
now you are uncurled and cover our eyes
with the edge of winter sky
leaning over us in icy stars.
Vines, leaves, roots of darkness, growing,
come with your seasons, your fullness, your end.
